Regular Giving is a very cost effective way of donating because if you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you give, we can currently claim another 25p from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you.
Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the charity.
A regular gift to Age Concern Southampton, however small, is a wonderful way to show you care and will really help to improve the quality of life of someone in their later years.
For instance, you could help to:
Please download our 'Friends of Age Concern Southampton' form or contact us on 023 8036 8636 to arrange a regular donation. You can also arrange it online through our Virgin Money Giving site:

Payroll Giving
Running a payroll scheme is an excellent way for your employees to give to Age Concern Southampton, and will be worth a great deal to our charity.
There are benefits to your company too and any administrative costs can be deducted from company profits for tax purposes. To find out how to set up a scheme, visit the Inland Revenue’s site. It gives details of all the registered charity agencies in the UK, plus step-by-step instructions.
Please note that for a company to offer payroll giving to its employees, it must by law be contracted to a charity agency.
