Age Concern Southampton Photographic Competition 2012
All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not contravene the rights of third parties.
The copyright in all photographs submitted by participants will remain vested in the participant. However, by participating in this competition, participants grant Age Concern Southampton the right to copy, reproduce, adapt and publish their photographs in different media and formats after the closing date of the competition.
Participants must ensure that all people photographed for the competition have given their consent and are aware of how their image may be used. This may include, for example, Age Concern Southampton’s leaflets, brochures, posters, publicity or a Calendar. The images will not be passed on to third parties.
Minor manipulation of images using Photoshop or equivalent is permitted.
No cash alternative to prizes is available.
Only three photographs may be submitted by each participant
Photographs cannot be returned.
The Judges decision is final.
Entries must be received by midnight on Monday 4th June 2012
There are three categories to enter:
Under 16 years
16-49 years
50 years and over
Finalists will be selected by the 18th of June 212 and notified as soon as possible thereafter.
Entries will be accepted in both digital and film mediums. The email address for digital or scanned film prints is events@ageconcernsouthampton.org.uk
The address for postal entries (pre-printed and/or film prints) is: Age Concern Southampton, 1 Saxon Gate, Back of the Walls, Southampton SO14 3HA.
If sending prints via email, do not resize to make smaller and easier to send as this will reduce the image quality of prints.
