Fundraising
Fundraising is a great way to have a bit of fun, bring your friends, family and community together, and raise money for a great cause. Here are some ideas for you to think about: Swap Shop: Host an event where your friends can bring along items of clothing that have not left their wardrobe in a long time, and purchase something new for a donation. Coffee Morning/Tea Party: A chance to have invite all your friends for a natter - simply ask for a couple of pounds as a donation. Dress Down Day: Persuade your employer to organise a dress down day at work - with each employee contributing a small donation for the privilege. Dinner Party: Utilise your culinary skills to cook some friends a dinner, and charge them restaurant prices as a donation! Pub quiz night: Invite people to put their general knowledge to the test. Open gardens: Keen gardeners can open up their gardens to other enthusiasts for a small donation. You could bake cakes and serve tea to bring in some extra funds. Musical evening: Invite some local musicians to play, and blag a free local venue to host your event for a good cause. Sports and races: Challenge your friends to a game of cricket, football, rugby etc. Cheese & wine evening: A chance to socialise, have fun and raise money at the same time! |
